Our Quiz Bowl team had an amazing 1st tournament today. 16 teams from 10 schools competed. Our “A" team came in 4th place overall and Guy Coyne won 7th place (out of about 60 players) for individual high score.
If we had come in 3rd, the students would have qualified to attend the national quiz bowl championships in Chicago. Since our team is made up almost entirely of 6th graders, this is something that is very likely to happen next year. We will need to do some fundraising next year to buy an official buzzer system for our students to use during practices.
We were the only Bartlett team to compete and are incredibly proud of how well all of our students performed!
