Good afternoon and Happy Veterans Day! 

      Thank you to all those men and women whom have served our nation and continue to do so. Please remember that three is no school on Friday (tomorrow).  It is hard to believe that quarter two is ½ way through.  Please remind your student to check PowerSchool regularly to ensure all work is submitted and up to date.  We have our cumulative quarter test in mid-December, it would be a great idea to start reviewing a little each evening in preparation

Friday: Discuss Force Reduction Lab and begin

Force Reduction Lab Information:

  • Design, test, and redesign a force reduction system on a vehicle (car, egg drop, etc.) to arrive at an optimal design that meets specific parameters. You will need a detailed report that describes your though process, your design, tested data, challenges faced, and how/why flaws improved.
  • Evaluate the  weaknesses and strengths of several classmate’s force reduction systems in terms of effectiveness, costs, materials, and build quality.
  • Rubric given next week
