  • Warm-up Chomp 16: Poem rhyme and purpose
  • Students will receive the information and rubric for the Blood on the Riverfinal culminating project: the assignment is to write 4 journal entries from Samuel’s point of view with 4 significant events that take place in the book. Due on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 as final read check.
  • Students will begin to identify claims and analyze the text evidence that supports the claims in two informational texts, “August-September 1607” excerpt, and Written in Bone
