  • Student will complete the “District Pre-test” in Power-school.

 Tuesday, September 24, 2019

  • Warm-up Chomp 22: Conflict; identify main character; word context
  • Students will complete Quiz 2 for Written in Bone, open book and notes quiz.  Work on the journal project due tomorrow.

 Wednesday, September 25, 2019   

  • Warm-up Chomp 23: Central idea; author organization; strong argument
  • Blood on the River journaling final project is due today.
  • Students will begin to analyze how setting and characters interact in a literary text, Blood on the River, Chapters 9 and 10.

Thursday, September 26, 2019

  • Warm-up Chomp 24: Supporting claim in argumentative essay
  • Students will visit the library to find a book they want to read. Please know that your student should be reading at home at least 30 minutes every day to become better readers and successful in their studies as they travel their educational path.
  • Students will continue to analyze how setting and characters interact in a literary text, Blood on the River, Chapters 9 and 10.
