It is important that parents and students review the BCS Student-Parent Handbook and the BLMS Student Handbook. Teachers and administrators do meet with students to review expectations and to go over some of the major items, however, students are expected to follow all rules and procedures outlined in these handbooks.

Key changes to FIT are...
- Students must complete a FIT ticket within 3 days of receiving their Test/Quiz in class.
- Students must have ALL other assignments turned into the teacher before they can complete FIT.
- Teachers have greater options in how students can complete FIT.
Students will be issued a letter grade in Academic Exploration class this year, based on their class participation. Teachers will use a school-wide rubric to grade student participation. Please see the rubric below.
